Returns & Exchanges


 

1. General Policy

As a provider of custom – tailored event catering services, WGIC LIMITED generally does not offer returns or exchanges. Each catering order is uniquely designed and prepared to meet the specific requirements of your event, including menu selection, portion sizes, dietary accommodations, and service arrangements. Once an order is confirmed and our services are in progress, refunds or exchanges will not be issued, except in the following exceptional circumstances:

2. Exceptions

  • Cancellation Policy:
    • More than 30 days before the event: If you cancel your order more than 30 days prior to the scheduled event date, you will receive a full refund, minus any non – refundable deposits or fees that were clearly communicated at the time of booking.
    • 15 – 30 days before the event: Cancellations made between 15 and 30 days before the event will result in a 50% refund of the total order value.
    • Less than 15 days before the event: Orders cancelled less than 15 days before the event date are non – refundable. This is due to the significant preparations, ingredient procurement, and resource allocation that occur in the lead – up to an event.
  • Quality – Related Issues: In the unlikely event that you encounter serious quality issues with our services, such as foodborne illness caused by our food, significant deviations from the agreed – upon menu (e.g., serving dishes that were not ordered or substituting high – end ingredients with lower – quality alternatives without prior approval), or failure to provide essential services as promised, we will take immediate action to resolve the problem. Depending on the nature and severity of the issue, we may offer a replacement service, provide credits towards a future order, or issue a partial or full refund at our discretion. To initiate a claim for a quality – related issue, you must notify us within 24 hours of the event conclusion, providing detailed documentation and evidence of the problem.

3. Reporting Issues

If you believe you have a valid reason for a return, exchange, or refund, please contact our customer service team immediately at Kara1JayneOwen@outlook.com or +44 7429 393437. Our team will review your claim, investigate the circumstances, and respond to you within 5 business days with a decision and, if applicable, instructions on how to proceed with any potential resolution.

4. Force Majeure

In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, civil unrest, or other acts of God, that prevent us from providing the catering services as scheduled, we will work with you to reschedule the event or, if rescheduling is not possible, issue a refund based on the portion of the services that were not provided. We will not be liable for any losses or damages incurred as a result of such force majeure events.
